Founded in 2002 by two infrastructure engineers, we began by creating a web-based company directory that pulled Active Directory® information into a web application. We named the company Web Active Directory, LLC, and felt the customized solution we created for the AD environment would be a really cool application that we could sell online and use to make a large fortune!
Nine years later and just shy of a large (or even small) fortune, we’ve somehow ended up firmly positioned in the identity management marketplace with customers all over the world speaking more than 11 languages. We sometimes joke that we “backed” into this market because all we ever really wanted to do was develop really cool web applications that would make Active Directory easier to manage. Now we’re an unintentional identity management player. Sheesh!
We are an engineering-driven company with expertise in Active Directory, identity management and infrastructure.
